The Spiritus breakthrough
Stability changes what's possible.
One of the challenges of working with the naturally occurring active ingredient is stability. Spiritus has developed proprietary technology designed to stabilize the key ingredient in natural mushrooms, creating a shelf-stable liquid formulation.
Our technology is backed by two international patents (one granted and one pending). As far as we know, we are the first in the world to stabilize freebase psilocin — the molecule in its pure, unmodified form as produced by nature, with nothing added to it. Third-party testing confirms ours is stable at room temperature at three months.

Testing and purity
What's in the bottle matters.
Every production run is subject to testing designed to verify purity and quality. Spiritus has completed third-party stability and purity testing with an Australian pharmaceutical company, alongside ongoing production testing at our Kingston facility.
Our rigorous analytical testing protocols enable us to identify and measure active ingredients in every bottle. Batches are tested before release, confirming purity.

Clean from source to seal.
Every Spiritus tincture is produced under controlled conditions and validated sterilization procedures. Our protocols are designed to eliminate microbial contamination while preserving the integrity of the active formulation.
Controlled environment
Production takes place in a clean, monitored environment with strict airborne particle and microbial controls.
Steam sterilization
Equipment and glassware are sterilized using saturated steam under pressure to eliminate bacteria, spores, and fungi.
Filtration
Liquid formulations pass through validated membrane filtration to remove particulates and ensure clarity.
Sealed packaging
Filled bottles are sealed immediately to protect against environmental contamination and preserve shelf stability.
Sterilization records are maintained for every batch and reviewed as part of our quality release process. These controls are central to our commitment to producing a consistent, reliable product.
